Description

Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where technology drives innovation in the insurance industry. As an omnichannel Insurtech company, we believe work should be meaningful, impactful, and enjoyable. You’ll be working on one of the most exciting data and technology opportunities in the country—comparable to what’s happening at Google or Microsoft—while helping to change lives, including your own.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Enterprise Data Engineering to lead and support the development of large-scale, complex data implementations. The Director of Enterprise Data Engineering is a forward-thinking and strategic leader with a strong focus on harnessing data to drive innovation, scalability, and growth. This essential role involves close collaboration with business leaders and technology teams to shape and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our organizational goals. Your leadership will not only inspire but also act as a driving force for embedding a data-centric culture throughout the organization, making you a key player in our mission to achieve and exceed our ambitious objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership skills, experience managing distributed teams (onsite, remote, and international), and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience implementing Responsible AI frameworks or working within regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, insurance).
  • Familiarity with AI compliance (e.g., GDPR, CPRA) and explainable AI practices.
  • Background in integrating generative AI solutions (e.g., large language models) in enterprise workflows.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred.
