Te mahi | The role The Otago Business School is looking for an outstanding, future focused leader to reimagine, elevate, and expand our Executive Programmes portfolio — including the MBA, DBA, and Executive Education offerings. You will lead a strategic transformation that strengthens programme excellence, drives innovation, and ensures our offerings meet the needs of contemporary leaders in Aotearoa and globally. Reporting to the Pro Vice Chancellor, Commerce, you will champion the enhancement and growth of Executive Programmes across multiple delivery modes — on campus, online, and through satellite locations, including a rapidly developing presence in Queenstown, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing executive education markets. You will have the scope to think big, act decisively, and bring a revitalised vision to life. You will bring: • Senior leadership experience with the ability to inspire, unify, and develop high performing teams. • A strong record of strategic programme development, ideally in MBA or Executive Education settings. • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, innovation, and market responsive programme delivery. • Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi. • Well established industry connections and the credibility to develop new, high value partnerships. • Experience working across international markets and engaging diverse student communities. • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
