Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal stability, and driving strategic financial planning for our organisation. Lead and manage the overall financial strategy and operations of the organisation Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies Oversee tax planning and compliance Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Collaborate with other department heads to align financial objectives with overall business goals Present financial reports and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors Implement cost-saving measures and optimise financial performance across the organisation Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance or accounting position, preferably in the hospitality industry Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, and local accounting standards Strong proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving business growth Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Experience in implementing and managing financial controls and risk management processes Proven track record of improving financial performance and implementing cost-saving initiatives Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is advantageous Additional Information What awaits you...
