On-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.
The Director of Finance & Accounting will serve as a key financial leader at Kings River Packing, working closely with ownership and senior leadership to strengthen our financial foundation and support company growth. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the accounting team, enhancing financial systems, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers significant visibility across the organization and a growth path into a future VP-level role.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight and management of the financial reporting process.
  • Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Annual budget preparation with monthly review and analysis.
  • Annual independent CPA review.
  • Assist in annual year-end tax planning, work closely with outside CPA firm to assist with tax return preparation.
  • Ownership of day-to-day banking responsibilities.
  • Check signing.
  • ACH/Wire approvals.
  • User maintenance.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a 14-person accounting team (Controller, Sr. Accountant, Staff Accountant, Grower Accounting, AP, AR, Admin).
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll and compliance.
  • Build and expand financial analysis capabilities that drive better decision-making.
  • Work closely with leaders in each department to support the company’s overall success.
  • Work directlywith the CFO on special projects.
  • Perform other work-related duties and projects as directed.
