Description Full Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday | First Shift | Zebby Sulecki, Inc., a premier, values-based, performance-driven construction company in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced, detail-oriented, trust-worthy, emotionally mature Director of Finance & Accounting who is willing to contribute significantly to the Team as they serve clients by transforming their environments from rough to fine finish. The Director of Finance & Accounting will oversee all financial activities of this 110+ employee company, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership and management. This exciting opportunity requires strong, proven accounting experience within the construction industry, the ability to develop processes and controls, as well as train and develop a team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, proven financial acumen, be able to solve problems, collaborate and consensus build, and have experience with cost accounting, cost control principles, job costing, and GAAP. Director of Finance & Accounting responsibilities include:· Strategic & Organizational Alignmento Organizational Development & Culture Modeling o Business, Strategic & Succession Planning Engagement & Participationo Leadership Team Support· Team & Departmental Leadershipo Team Specific Leadership & Management o Administrative & Operational Services· Core Financial Stewardshipo Transactions o Analyzing & Reportingo Banking and Cash Managemento Tax Compliance – Corporate & Payrollo Monitoring & Complianceo Risk Managemento Administration· External & Relational Engagement o Business Partner Relationship Engagement, Management & Oversighto Individual, Team & Company Participation Requirements Required experience includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 8+ years of accounting experience within the construction industry, 5+ years of experience in team leadership and management, and finance and reporting understanding, interpretation, and forecasting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) licenses are ideal. Qualified candidates will be caring and personable, able to clearly and consistently communicate with their team and across the organization, be highly organized, process-driven, and tech-savvy with a very strong IT IQ, specializing in Excel, Timberline, and ideally Sage. Candidates must have a high-level of integrity and dependability, a strong sense of urgency and initiative, and the ability to optimistically and strategically lead a team. Community involvement and volunteerism with a demonstration and commitment to focus on others is highly preferred.
