ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our dynamic, growing client in Central Ottawa is seeking a progressive, forward-thinking Director of Finance to join their well-established organization on a full-time, Contract-to-Permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Production of financial statements
• Coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts
• Preparing Month and Year End close for appropriate department
• Financial Analysis, Risk Analysis, reporting, ad hoc analysis as needed
• Institute and maintain internal controls as well as streamlining policies & procedures, compliance
• Communicating with Senior Management on all Finance-related strategies, including developing long-term growth models
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and presenting financial reports
• Oversee and provide support to all levels of accounting staff and provide guidance as needed
