The JOB: The Director of Finance is a key member of the resort’s executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations for Jekyll Island Club Resort and Jekyll Ocean Club Resort. This role provides strategic financial leadership, ensures strong internal controls, drives profitability, and partners with operational leaders to support business goals while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and accountability. Requirements Requirements You have: ~ A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred) ~ 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hotel or resort finance ~ Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting ~ Proven experience managing audits, internal controls, and compliance ~ Strategic mindset with the ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership ~ Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills ~ Hospitality systems experience (PMS, accounting platforms, labor management systems) preferred
