Pehdzeh Ki First Nation has an employment opportunity for the position of Director of Finance reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A recognized degree/diploma in Public Administration or Management or a
CGA, CMA or CA designation would be a definite asset
Formal training/experience in local government administration and finance
Minimum three years experience supervising and managing financial staff
Experience developing and monitoring budgets and preparing financial reports
REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarization with statutory responsibilities as specified in associated Acts of the Government of Northwest Territories.
Working knowledge of government operations, by-laws and policy making.
Must have strong computer and communications skills
Experience with Sage accounting program
