Scintica is a rapidly growing, private company based in London, Ontario with operations in the USA, UK, Europe and many other parts of the world. We specialize in the sale of high value scientific equipment to research scientists at Universities and Pharmaceutical Companies as they seek to make the next medical breakthrough. We are seeking a new Director of Finance to take responsibility for the management and accuracy of the company’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance, overseeing our existing finance team to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing. This position will report to the President to support strategic decision-making and ensure the company’s continued growth, profitability, and financial integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and relevant tax regulations.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
