Director of Finance Transformation Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role holds accountability for Beca’s enterprise-wide finance transformation. While core platforms, including Oracle Fusion, are critical enablers, the remit is broader and strategic in nature — reshaping how finance operates, builds capability, and partners with the business to support Beca’s ‑long-term‑ strategy and “One Beca” outcomes. As Director of Finance Transformation, you will define the vision and provide leadership for a multi‑year transformation that aligns finance operating models, capability, processes, data, and technology. You will ensure finance evolves in step with business and technology change, strengthening its role as a trusted strategic partner and value creator across the organisation. You will own the integrated finance transformation roadmap and provide clear stewardship to ensure alignment with wider business, people, and technology strategies. This includes governing investment priorities, driving benefits realisation‑, and ensuring change is embedded in a sustainable way through capability uplift, disciplined execution, and strong adoption. Operating as a senior enterprise leader, you will lead cross functional teams and strategic partners to enable a resilient, scalable, and ‑future ready finance ecosystem. You will oversee key vendor relationships, guide strategic investment decisions, and maintain‑ an external perspective on emerging trends to inform continuous improvement. You will also shape the future capability and leadership of the finance function, building high performing‑ teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion. Partnering closely with the executive and senior leadership teams, you will influence outcomes and ensure finance enables operational excellence, trusted insight, and an exceptional people experience. Ko wai koe | About you You are an enterprise level finance transformation leader with a proven ability to shape, sponsor, and deliver ‑largescale change across complex organisations. While deep‑ understanding of finance platforms and systems such as Oracle Fusion is expected, your impact is defined by your ability to align strategy, capability, operating models, processes, and technology to deliver sustained business value. You bring a strong strategic and commercial perspective, with experience setting direction and governing multi‑year transformation agendas that strengthen how finance operates and partners with the business. You are comfortable operating at executive level, influencing outcomes across functions, guiding investment decisions, and ensuring transformation efforts translate into measurable benefits and enduring change. Recognised as a credible and trusted leader, you create clarity through complexity and lead with authority, integrity, and purpose. You build alignment across senior stakeholders, shape future capability, and embed new ways of working that enable finance to evolve in step with business and technology transformation. Your background includes significant leadership experience in finance transformation, underpinned by strong systems and data literacy, and ideally a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
