You are responsible

Management and organization of the Finance & Controlling departments for the companies in the Truma Core

  • Overall responsibility for finance, controlling and data-driven corporate management in Truma Core
  • Management of Direct Reports at Truma Gerätetechnik GmbH & Co. KG: Head of Controlling (team size: 4) and Head of Finance (team size: 10)
  • Further development of organization, roles, processes and competencies in the areas of
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (German Commercial Code)
  • Responsibility for a uniform, international reporting system including KPI framework and management reviews, as well as further development of consolidation and closing processes.
  • Management of liquidity, payment transactions and working capital
  • Responsibility for corporate planning, forecasts and multi-year planning including scenarios
  • Close collaboration with the finance and controlling teams of the international subsidiaries, as well as the establishment of group-wide standards, policies and governance.
  • Collaboration and management of external partners (banks, auditors, tax advisors)

 

Business Partnering & Strategy

  • Proactive sparring partner for management, co-CEOs and D-level executives – with a clear stance, implementation strength and a focus on effective management impulses.
  • Provision of sound, data-based decision-making tools (e.g., investments, profitability calculations, make-or-buy, M&A) including sensitivity and scenario analyses.
  • Active participation in the further development of the company strategy
  • Translating strategic goals into financial management logics, KPIs, and measures; ensuring transparency regarding goal achievement.

 

Governance, Processes & Transformation

  • Further development of reporting, KPI and control structures
  • Establishing a "Single Source of Truth" (data model, data quality, responsibilities) for reliable business management
  • Responsibility for compliance with commercial and tax regulations at the national and international level
  • Introduction and further development of modern finance, consolidation, planning and BI systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, Planning/Consolidation, Dashboarding, Self-Service BI) as well as harmonization of the data and process landscape
  • Initiation and management of transformation, digitalization and efficiency programs (finance operating model, process harmonization, automation) – also across national borders.
  • Design of robust, transparent and scalable financial and controlling processes, also internationally

Professional qualification

  • Completed business administration studies with a focus on finance / controlling
  • Extensive professional experience in a senior finance role, ideally in internationally operating, manufacturing medium-sized companies (matrix/multi-entity structures)
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting, controlling, business planning and management reporting.
  • Ability to derive clear control recommendations from data
  • Experience in dealing with complex financial and management models
  • Proficient use of ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as modern BI/Analytics and planning tools
  • Understanding of data models, interfaces, and data quality
  • Experience in standardizing and scaling finance/controlling processes in international structures (e.g., governance, policies, template and KPI standards)

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in developing high-performing teams
  • Strong change and implementation skills (change leadership) as well as experience in stakeholder management across functions and countries.
