Description

A great UHY client is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication/ bargaining unit negotiations, accounting/budgeting experience and a valid CPA license.
The Director of Finance role is onsite. This is a contract, temp to hire role.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in municipal finance, public accounting, or government financial management.
  • General ledger conversion experience
  • Bargaining unit negotiations experience
  • Capital improvement or capital projects, budgeting/planning experience
  • Grant management and reporting experience

    - Strong communication skills
