Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead the financial, operational, and administrative activities of our organization. This executive-level role is responsible for financial stewardship, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and supporting organizational growth. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Operations * Direct all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, budgeting, asset management, and audits. * Prepare timely, accurate, and compliant financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders. * Ensure all financial reporting requirements for government and regulatory authorities are met. * Proactively monitor organizational investments, assessing risks and identifying opportunities. Strategic & Tactical Planning * Analyze financial trends and organizational data to provide informed recommendations to senior leadership. * Support the CEO in developing annual operating and capital budgets. * Establish and maintain internal financial controls; coordinate annual financial audits. * Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Organizational Leadership * Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic planning and organizational goals. * Foster strong interdepartmental communication, integration, and continuous improvement. * Address emerging issues related to business operations, personnel, materials, or systems. * Meet or exceed established key performance indicators. Other Responsibilities * Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO. Qualifications Education * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field required. * Master’s degree preferred. Experience * Minimum of five (5) years of management experience required. * Healthcare industry experience preferred. Physical Requirements * Regular activities may include standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, or twisting. * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Working Conditions * Primarily office-based environment with climate control. * Rare exposure to blood or blood products. * Work may involve frequent interruptions, competing priorities, and tight deadlines. * Evening, holidays, or weekend hours may occasionally be required.
