We are looking for a Director of Financial Aid to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves leading the financial aid office, developing strategies for financial aid programs, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Providing strategic leadership for the financial aid office
• Overseeing the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs
• Collaborating with university leadership to develop and implement financial aid strategies
• Analyzing data and trends to assess the effectiveness of financial aid programs
• Developing policies and procedures to streamline financial aid processes and improve service delivery
• Coordinating financial aid activities with admissions, registration, and student accounts
• Administering the university tuition remission program and all tuition exchange programs
• Reviewing all financial aid cases and appeals, ensuring fair and consistent decisions
• Conducting information sessions for student/parent groups
• Preparing annual reports and developing student aid budgets
• Supervising staff, monitoring performance and conducting required reviews
• Staying current on changes in federal and state financial aid regulations and policies.
• Relevant experience in a related role, preferably within a non-profit or academic setting
• Detailed understanding and application of Academic Affairs
• Familiarity with University Policies, particularly in relation to financial aid
• Demonstrated experience in Student Financial Aid
• Proficient in Jenzabar & financial aid packaging software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
