Job Description
As Director of Financial Reporting (f/m/x), you will take end-to-end ownership of our group financial reporting and consolidation processes. You will lead a growing team and ensure accurate and timely reporting under IFRS and HGB.

You will:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS and HGB) and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and develop a team covering local and group accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
  • Manage the annual group audit and act as the primary contact for external auditors
  • Drive the improvement and automation of financial reporting systems and processes
  • Support strategic projects such as M&A, legal restructuring, and new entity onboarding
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and ensure their correct implementation
  • Collaborate closely with Tax, FP&A, Legal, and other internal stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong track record in financial reporting, group accounting, or audit
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS/HGB, including hands-on consolidation experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong track record in audit management and reporting in complex environments (e.g., international groups, scale-ups, PE-backed)
  • A proactive, structured, and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
