Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Fire Protection, you will drive technical excellence, manage a team of experienced engineers, and oversee the successful delivery of large-scale projects across Australia. Your leadership will shape the strategic direction of fire protection services, ensuring innovation, compliance, and quality in all aspects of design and project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of fire engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee the design and analysis of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards, Fire Safety Engineering documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project deliverables, including Revit drafting coordination, reporting, and client communications.
  • Ensure efficient project planning, meeting key timelines and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance during construction phases, addressing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site inspections, and preparing reports.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, driving strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and project teams.
