OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Fixed Operations to oversee our Service and Parts departments across the group. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with the ability to drive profitability, build strong teams, and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires extensive travel between our dealerships in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in automotive fixed operations
  • Strong working knowledge of dealership Service and Parts operations
  • Experience with CDK and PBS dealer management systems is required
  • Proven track record of achieving profitability goals and CSI targets
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal, provincial, and local regulations
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively between dealerships (required)

Responsibilities
  • Develop monthly and quarterly operating budgets, goals, and objectives for each Service and Parts department, with a strong focus on profitability and CSI performance
  • Drive performance by setting clear expectations with managers and ensuring achievement of profit targets and customer satisfaction benchmarks
  • Lead the hiring, coaching, and training of Service and Parts managers
  • Work with department leaders to maximize profitability, efficiency, and process improvements
  • Ensure a best-in-class customer experience, focusing on repeat and referral business
  • Oversee warranty administration, ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies
  • Establish and maintain service and pricing policies in alignment with group standards
  • Conduct spot checks and audits to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Provide direct support and leadership across dealerships through frequent travel
