Company Description We are seeking an exceptional Director of Food & Beverage to join the pre-opening team of Delano London. As a strategic partner to the General Manager, you will lead the pre-opening and ongoing performance of all Food & Beverage operations. Set to open its doors in 2026, Delano London will be an intimate and refined urban sanctuary in South Kensington, bringing the brand’s iconic understated glamour to one of London’s most prestigious addresses at 60 Hyde Park Gate, overlooking Hyde Park and moments from the city’s leading cultural institutions. The 67-key luxury retreat will blend soft minimalist design, generous living spaces and park views creating a distinctive lifestyle destination where design, dining, nightlife and wellbeing seamlessly converge. Job Description What you’ll do… Drive commercial performance across the F&B division, identifying revenue opportunities and delivering strategic initiatives in partnership with Sales, Brand and the leadership team. Hold full accountability for F&B P&L performance, managing costs, productivity and margins while maintaining quality and guest experience standards. Partner closely with the Head Chef to shape compelling, commercially viable menus and ensure consistent food quality and presentation. Deliver exceptional guest experiences across all outlets, embedding brand standards and creating memorable moments that drive reputation and repeat business. Build and inspire high-performing teams, fostering engagement, accountability and development across the F&B function. Act as a visible and hands-on leader within the operation, setting the tone for service excellence and team culture. Qualifications What we’re looking for… A strong food & beverage operator with local and/or international experience in a similar role preferably within a luxury and/or lifestyle environment. Ideally you will have previous pre-opening experience. You are comfortable handling all commercial aspects and able to strike the balance between commercial decisions and doing what’s right for the brand. You have a passion for providing great guest experiences, rooted in unique and locally driven experiences. You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail. You are an excellent relationship builder, with previous experience of owner relationships.
