What You Will Be Doing The Director of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Renu, Inc. This role partners closely with the Executive team and senior leadership to provide financial insight, decision support, and forward-looking analysis to support enterprise priorities. The role requires strong financial expertise, solid business judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results against plans monthly. Serve as a trusted finance partner to Corporate executives and functional leaders. Lead a team in conducting month-end close processes including the consolidation of flash estimates, monitoring general ledger bookings, and creating detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management. Lead balance sheet management with frequent reviews of internally developed software assets and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on topics of internally developed software. Develop and enhance FP&A tools, models, and processes to improve accuracy, speed, and transparency. Participate in quarterly review of balance sheet trends and strategic forecasts as well as analyze of financial performance of Renu and its competitors. Generate analytics for quarter-end flash results, related highlights, board of directors’ reports, and executive management reports as well as contribute to quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reports. Lead the estimation of risk capital and embed estimation and other metrics of capital usage into management reports and decision processes. Implement financial initiatives and manage work of the department ensuring appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place. Develop and implement budgets, forecasts, and long range plans. Develop and direct revenue and expense analysis, including in-depth financial, operational trends, and KPIs. Partner with the revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control. Manage and direct individuals within the infrastructure area through relevant direct reports. Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and ROI across corporate functions. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional coaching and development opportunities. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 15+ Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar financial leadership role. 10+ years of managerial experience. Experience in financial services, construction accounting or bank services. Demonstrated financial modeling skills with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational plans. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
