Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Front Office (Hotel) to join our team to oversee all front of house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing departmental efficiency and profitability. This role manages Front Desk, Bell/Transportation, Night Audit, Guest Accounting, Gift Shop, and Pool operations.   Responsibilities   • Lead daily Front Office operations, ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction. • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise guest services staff. • Manage scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and departmental financial performance. • Oversee check in/out, billing accuracy, room status, and key control. • Resolve guest concerns with urgency and professionalism. • Maintain communication across departments and conduct regular team meetings.  • Participate in revenue management meetings and support rate/occupancy strategies.  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies. • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.   Requirements   • 3–5 years of hotel front desk experience; supervisory experience preferred. • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related fields (i.e. Hotel Management) preferred.  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel systems (Opera, PMS, POS). • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.   Benefits   • Competitive salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. • Opportunities for professional growth and development.  • Supportive and dynamic work environment. • Employee discounts. • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Optional Supplemental Insurance • Life Insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Vacation and Personal time  • Free Parking   About the Company Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.
