Rite of Passage is hiring for a Director of Fundraising and Scholarships✨✨ The Director of Fundraising and Scholarships provides strategic leadership to the organization’s managed nonprofit boards, guiding fundraising direction and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to sustain and grow philanthropic revenue across managed nonprofits, ensuring long-term financial support for programs and initiatives. Key areas of focus include fundraising strategy, donor engagement, fundraising events, board engagement, the identification and development of grant opportunities, and oversight of the Passageway scholarship program. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director of Fundraising and Scholarships will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow and sustain nonprofits’ philanthropic efforts as well as cultivate and maintain relationships with potential donors and supporters.Other responsibilites include collaborating with executive leadership and board members to support fundraising efforts and strengthen donor engagement, oversee and implement organized fundraising activities and events while also providing non-profit boards and Executive leadership with donor reports such as: strategic plan, targets, current status, communication plans, donor development activities, and other information as requested. To be considered: Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, education, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Minimum of five (5) years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit leadership. Familiarity with the Greater Giving CRM platform is preferred. Must meet the requirements to be an eligible driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
