At Gaudenzia, your purpose fuels progress - for yourself and others.   Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.   Qualifications:   Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field, plus specialized training as required (e.g. nonprofit, grant administration, behavioral health etc.)   Experience: Four (4) years in progressively responsible and varied program arrangement or staff work in a multi-modality public or private organization, including experience in administration, grant management, fiscal departments, office procedures, policy development, and proposal writing.     The ideal candidate for this position has Grants Management experience, specifically in Pennsylvania Government based positions. This must be an experienced individual in managing grants accounting – budgeting, drawing down, allocating, managing accounting staff, etc.     Your responsibilities in this role may include: This individual is responsible for the management requirements, general ledger reconciliation, invoices and submission on a monthly, quarterly and annual budget as determined by each funding source. This position will also be crossed trained on the various aspects of Grants Management responsibilities included but not limited to: coordinating with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis on the following: Budget Development for Program Funded initiatives; Program Funders' annual rate increase requests; applying audit procedures related to fiscal reporting and compliance; preparing government reporting budgets and expenditures: adhering to subsidiary financial procedures; and assisting with preparation and planning of special projects. Primary responsibilities include supervising Grant Accountants and a Grant Coordinator performing functions including, but are not limited to, reconciliation of grant information in the general ledger, assisting the finance team during the monthly close recording of grant revenue and adjusting entries to grant program codes, preparation and submission of grant invoicing, annual audit requirements as related to grants. Other responsibilities include management reporting and audit coordination, and miscellaneous financial and administrative functions. * Supervise accurate and timely annual grant submission and periodic invoicing per the instructions of the funding source(s) Maintain a working knowledge of all contracts as pertains to the department * Training and education in any and all up to date governmental requirements and regulations as pertaining to the Grants Department and drug/alcohol treatment field * Supervise the preparation of invoices for program funded programs and, potentially, fee for service invoices.
