Description

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To lead the Department of Guidance and Awareness in achieving its objectives in raising awareness, providing advice and guidance to employers, workers, and relevant stakeholders, and enhancing compliance with labor laws and policies through the development and implementation of effective awareness programs that ensure the rights of all parties in the labor market.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in Mass Communication, Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in guidance, awareness, or developmental program management.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various entities.
  • Good knowledge of labor market laws and policies.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to assess program impact and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of guidance and awareness programs targeted at employers, workers, and domestic labor.
  • Coordinate with internal units and relevant entities to apply the best methods and tools for guidance and awareness.
  • Supervise the preparation and development of guidance materials related to labor laws and policies, and ensure their dissemination through official communication channels in coordination with the Government Communications Department.
  • Organize and execute inspection visit plans to labor recruitment offices, business centers, and establishments to raise awareness of applicable legislation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of awareness programs on labor market systems and policies, measure their impact, and introduce improvement measures based on results.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of guidance activities and ensure the protection of the rights of both employers and workers within the framework of applicable legislation.
  • Submit regular reports to the Assistant Undersecretary for the Labor Protection Sector on the outcomes and impact of awareness and guidance activities.
  • Manage the department’s team and enhance their skills to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior management that support the department’s and ministry’s goals.
