Job Overview
The Wellness Director position is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing departament and services within a senior care facility. The Director will lead a team to ensure the well-being and health of residents in assisted living or nursing home settings.
Duties
- Develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of senior residents
- Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to support wellness initiatives
- Provide acute care services and support hospice care programs as needed
Requirements
- Experience in senior care, nursing, or related healthcare fields
- Familiarity with supervising staff in assisted living or nursing home environments
- Strong understanding of patient care protocols and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $68,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
