Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Align with the Director of Rooms to maximize hotel operations. Foster an environment that ensures consistency and a high level of guest satisfaction and accountability. Strive to improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensure and maintain cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms. Qualifications Minimum of three years’ prior experience as a housekeeping department leader for a luxury hotel. Proficient in utilizing technology and systems to enhance housekeeping procedures and aptitude for working with multiple computer systems (preferable experience with Opera and Alice). Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to provide directions and guidance in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Experience with resetting priorities, training team members on luxury standards, and coaching team members through new operational procedures and explaining the why behind shifting standards. Passion for the delivery of exceptional service and a genuine interest in working with guests in a luxury environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Ability to walk/stand up to 8 hours per shift and maintain a fast operational tempo. Ability to effectively multitask and identify top priorities among competing demands in daily operations.
