About the location: Located on the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas, and suites with exquisite views of the Aegean Sea. The brand-new build will take shape on an unspoiled 60,000 square meters of land, spanning from the sandy beaches to the picturesque coastal cliffs. To honor the culture and heritage of the destination, the Resort will be built in the Cycladic style that is synonymous with Mykonos, featuring white cubic architecture with bright spots of blue. The hotel will redefine luxury hospitality on the island. The Resort will offer an exciting variety of restaurants and bars, such as an al-fresco pool-side Italian venue, an authentic Mykonian Kafeneio, a contemporary steak house, and a vibrant beach club. In year 2, this will be supplemented with a Marina. The Role of Director of Housekeeping: We currently have an exciting opportunity for the Director of Housekeeping - Seasonal to join our Four Seasons Resort Mykonos opening team in Greece! Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms you will play a key leadership role in both the pre-opening phase and ongoing housekeeping operations, ensuring the successful preparation and execution of all departmental standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a world-class team at one of the most anticipated new openings in the region. As Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee the overall cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of guest accommodations, public areas, heart-of-house spaces, and laundry operations. Beyond the daily management, you will be a key stakeholder in the resort’s pre-opening activities, ensuring that all aesthetic, functional, and brand standards are met to Four Seasons’ exacting levels. This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Design, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure the physical product reflects our brand promise and guest expectations. The ideal candidate brings proven operational excellence, strong project management skills, particularly in the context of hotel openings, as well as a passion for leading and developing a high-performing team dedicated to teamwork, attention to detail, and going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our guests. Our Ideal Director of Housekeeping candidate will have: Minimum 5 - 8 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel housekeeping operations, with at least 3 years in a Director of Housekeeping / Executive Housekeeper role. Proven track record of involvement in hotel renovations, refurbishments, or pre-opening projects; understanding of FF&E/OSE lifecycles and impact on operations. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver results under pressure. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams. Strong financial acumen and operational analytics experience; familiarity with budgeting, labour management, and housekeeping software (e.g., HotSOS, Opera,). Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Greek and English language. The ability to lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
