Job Title: Director of Supportive Housing Services

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Supportive Housing Services provides strong clinical leadership and program oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated supportive housing services. This position is responsible for overseeing the Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) and the Office of Diversion & Reentry (ODR) programs. The Director ensures that clinical practices align with agency values, including Housing First and Harm Reduction principles, and that services are delivered in a culturally competent, trauma-informed manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in a mental health field.
- At least two years of post-licensure clinical and supervisory experience preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong knowledge of homelessness, housing systems, and related funding/contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and manage complex programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), databases, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to write clear and effective reports, procedures, and business correspondence.
- Comfortable presenting information to leadership, stakeholders, public audiences, and partnering agencies.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in using database software, spreadsheets, word processing tools, and other relevant platforms for documentation and reporting.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS
- If driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the position, candidates must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and be insurable under the agency’s insurance carrier.
- All employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received at least one booster dose by the hire date. Proof of medical or religious exemption must be provided at the time of hire if applicable.
- This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Standard agency hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
