Overview:
Konica Minolta is seeking a full-time Director of HR Business Partners to join our team. This leadership role will be instrumental in shaping workforce planning, driving employee engagement initiatives, and advancing talent development strategies to position our North American operations for long-term success. This is an in-office role based at our headquarters in Ramsey, NJ, with a Monday through Thursday on-site schedule and remote work on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to a team of North American HR Business Partners, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Advance the professional development of the HR Business Partner team by keeping informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in HR and talent management, and provide leadership and guidance to the HR team to continuously enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Talent Development: Develop and implement talent development strategies in partnership with the Head of Talent Management and determine programs that align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance. Support business leaders in prioritizing the development of top talent.
  • Workforce Planning: Lead HR Business Partner team in partnering with senior leadership to conduct comprehensive workforce planning, design and identifying current and future skills and talent needs, developing strategies to retain, and develop top talent.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure HR initiatives are closely aligned with business objectives and support overall organizational strategy. Actively seek to understand the external talent and performance practices and tools and consider how these might accelerate our talent strategy. Continuously monitor existing talent and performance practices to measure their impact on achieving our talent strategy.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the design and implementation of performance management processes that drive accountability, support professional growth, and foster a high-performance culture based on continuous feedback.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement through the creation and implementation of talent development initiatives. Partner with leaders to understand their engagement.
  • Change Management: Guide the organization through periods of change by providing strategic guidance, communication support, and change management expertise.
  • Lead the North American Field HR Team who supports project-based work for the organization and HR Function.
  • Responsible for managing vendor relationships and budgeting for the ER function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR teams and implementing talent development strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated change management expertise and the ability to navigate and lead organizations through periods of change.
  • Proficiency in understanding data and analytics and leveraging that information to measure performance and identify trends and areas of opportunity.
