SUMMARY: Directs business growth initiatives and community engagement activities for the Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC). Oversees administrative functions of business development and community engagement in collaboration with the HTC Medical Director, HTC Director, and the Director of the 340B Pharmacy. Additionally, serves as the HTC Billing Liaison, working closely with the 340B Pharmacy Director to resolve billing issues and support efficient program operations. Social Work coverage as needed by HTC.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Program Growth & Community Engagement * Leads promotion of HTC programs to referral sources, community partners, and potential patients. * Oversees patient and family education, outreach activities, and event planning/execution. * Manage marketing initiatives and patient-family recruitment strategies. * Develops and expands the HTC program, including long-term strategic planning in collaboration with Medical, HTC, and Pharmacy leadership. Supervision & Collaboration * Provides supervision, support, and instruction to HTC staff to assist in outreach, program promotion, and community engagement tasks. * Leads collaboration efforts with HTC and Pharmacy teams regarding 340B program growth and compliance. HTC & 340B Pharmacy Billing Liaison Responsibilities * Provides specialized support to the 340B Pharmacy Director regarding billing issues, claim discrepancies, and payer escalations. * Assists with identifying billing solutions and implementing workflow improvements. * Supports Pharmacy Director with financial performance tracking related to factor sales and reimbursement outcomes. Contracts & External Partnerships * Participates in or leads negotiations with managed care organizations, hospitals, and external healthcare providers. * Assists with contract term review to support HTC business objectives and ensure compliance with funding requirements (including federal grants and 340B). Administrative & Professional Standards * Recruits or converts a total of two patients to use our in house 340B pharmacy per year. * Makes 6 community health care contacts per month.         * Performs assigned duties and related responsibilities as needed. * Communicates professionally and courteously at all times. * Ensures adherence to organizational, state, and federal regulations—including 340B program integrity, Medi-Cal requirements, and grant obligations. * Complies with and upholds the standards of practice for a Masters of Social Work required in the state of California.   QUALIFICATIONS Education:     Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare, health care provider or related field  preferred.   Masters of Social Work required.   Experience:   Experience in clinical setting with at least 5 years of progressive work history in leading and managing a clinical service line (hemophilia, oncology, cardiology, nursing, physical therapy, social work, pharmacy, etc.).  Demonstrated capability in growing and enhancing clinical programs, being responsive to patients, providers, referral sources and the market.  Familiarity with administration of government grants and 340B HM designated Hemophilia program required.                         Masters of Social Work 5 years bleeding disorders experience.    Knowledge:   Understanding of clinic operations and the clinical process. Business development and patient retention strategies. Quality assessment and improvement processes.  Knowledge of Medi-Cal and other government programs.  Social Work                           compliance and standards of practice.       COMPLEXITY Must be able to perform highly detailed work requiring sustained attention, accuracy, and multitasking while handling multiple inquiries simultaneously. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and the ability to navigate complex partnerships, billing workflows, and regulatory requirements.
