Requirements Key Responsibilities: Policy & Compliance: Oversee and ensure agency policies, procedures, job descriptions, and performance reviews align with all relevant labor laws and industry regulations. Compensation & Benefits: Administer and continuously optimize compensation structures, employee benefits programs, including the 401(k) retirement plan, and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations. Talent Management: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for recruitment, retention, and workforce planning to meet current and future organizational needs. Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor and mediator for all employee-related matters, fostering a positive and supportive work culture. Performance Management: Lead performance review and optimization processes, equipping leaders to deliver impactful feedback and development opportunities. Training & Development: Identify organizational training needs and implement programs that align with strategic goals. HR Operations: Manage HR systems, records, and analytics to ensure seamless operations and data-driven decision-making. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all governmental regulations, including Affirmative Action, Civil Rights, Workers’ Compensation, and Unemployment benefits. Leadership: Provide direct supervision to the Administrative Assistant, supporting a cohesive and efficient HR team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR) preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of progressively responsible HR experience with demonstrated expertise in all HR functions, including compliance, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management. Skills: Strategic thinker with the ability to manage both the big picture and day-to-day HR needs. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
