Description Community Director of Human Resources Join The Clinton Presbyterian Community as the Director of Human Resources, a key operational leader responsible for the full execution of HR services across the community. This role is highly hands-on, requiring active involvement in daily HR functions, direct employee support, and close partnership with leadership to ensure a strong, compliant, and engaged workforce. We are seeking an experienced HR professional who is approachable, proactive, and willing to roll up their sleeves to support employees and managers at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute all day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and workforce planning to meet staffing needs Provide direct, hands-on employee relations support, including coaching managers, conducting investigations, and resolving concerns promptly Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining accurate documentation and HR practices Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compensation practices Support and administer performance management processes, including coaching and corrective action when needed Maintain HR systems, employee records, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance Partner closely with department leaders on staffing, engagement, and retention strategies Lead onboarding and orientation to ensure a strong employee experience from day one Plan and support employee engagement activities that strengthen morale and teamwork Skills and Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience; preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a similar environment Proven ability to manage both strategic priorities and hands-on HR execution Strong employee relations background with experience handling sensitive issues and conflict resolution Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment with shifting priorities Professional, approachable, and service-oriented mindset Total Rewards Opportunities: Competitive salary and comprehensive insurance benefits Generous paid time off Retirement savings plan with employer match Professional growth and development opportunities A mission-driven environment where your work directly impacts employees and residents At PCSC, we live our values of Service, Excellence, Relationships, Teamwork, and Stewardship every day.
