We are seeking an experienced Director of HR to join our dynamic team. Director of Human Resources Reporting to the CCO, the Director of HR serves as both a tactical and strategic business partner in several key human resources related functional disciplines: Recruiting, Employee Relations, Compensation/Benefits, Employee Engagement, Compliance, HR Administration (including Leaves and Workers Compensation, Performance Management, Departures/Exits, Development and Training). This is a hands-on role working with people at all levels of the organization. The Director of HR originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives across the organization. This individual advises and counsels firm leadership around providing an employee-oriented, high performance culture that embodies the core values of Grimes & Company. The Director of HR serves as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and ensures compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Develop, implement and maintain HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Serve as a key advisor to management on human capital matters. Talent Acquisition & Management Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes. Ensure effective talent management and employee development programs are in place. Foster a strong employer brand to attract top talent. Employee Relations & Engagement Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Resolve complex employee relations issues and lead conflict resolution efforts. Implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Performance & Development Design and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance. Support development and training programs to enhance capabilities across the organization. Compensation & Benefits Develop/Maintain a competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent. Conduct market analysis and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal laws. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees. Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring consistent application of HR policies. HR Operations Oversee HR systems and data management for accuracy and confidentiality. Lead continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Deep knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in managing change and fostering organizational culture.
