About the Role We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Human Resources – India to lead our people strategy and HR operations across India. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business and functional leaders while owning the execution of core HR programs that enable performance, culture, and growth. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with deep expertise in India HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations, and has successfully led culture transformation, manager enablement, and return-to-office initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. \n Responsibilities: Lead and execute the India HR strategy, aligned with global people initiatives and business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement. Drive the India Return-to-Office (RTO) strategy, ensuring effective change management, communication, and adoption across teams. Lead and champion culture transformation initiatives that reinforce company values, accountability, and high performance. Build and strengthen employee performance management programs, including goal setting, feedback cycles, performance reviews, and development planning. Partner with leaders to proactively address performance challenges and elevate manager effectiveness. Design and deliver manager enablement programs focused on people leadership, performance conversations, coaching, and employee engagement. Equip managers with tools, frameworks, and best practices to effectively lead hybrid and in-office teams. Oversee all HR operations in India, including employee relations, HR policies, payroll coordination, benefits administration, onboarding, and offboarding. Ensure full compliance with India state and country labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements. Partner with legal, finance, and external vendors to manage risk and maintain compliance. Collaborate closely with global HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure seamless people operations and alignment. Serve as a strong connector across teams, fostering trust, transparency, and effective communication. Requirements: 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant leadership experience in India HR. Strong knowledge of India labor laws, state-specific regulations, and HR compliance requirements. Proven experience leading RTO programs, culture transformation, and performance management initiatives. Demonstrated success in manager coaching and enablement. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or high-tech services company Proven ability to build and scale HR programs in a growing organization Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in HR preferred \n Cyderes is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
