QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required); Master’s Degree (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience as a HR Generalist/ Manager with increasing responsibility
  • 7+ years in HR leadership
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • Experienced in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, workforce analytics and strategic HR practices

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Human Resources at Mains’l, you will oversee all aspects of human resources across the organization, providing strategic leadership in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, and organizational goals, and ensuring our people practices reflect our values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise HR staff and manage HR department operations, staff development, and department budgeting
  • Oversee the use of HRIS for efficiency and effectiveness within the organization
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on Human Resources, organizational development, and workforce planning
  • Lead change management initiatives and foster high-performance culture
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and Mains’l Strategic Plan
  • Oversee recruitment strategies and onboarding process that attract and retain top talent
  • Lead performance management and succession planning programs
  • Monitor trends in engagement, retention, turnover, and workplace development
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies using a continuous research and application of ever-changing rules and legislation
  • Serve as a liaison with legal counsel regarding organization wide employee matters
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee the development of competitive compensation and benefits structures
  • Ensure agency job descriptions are completed and aligned to conduct regular marketplace benchmarking of role compensation
  • Oversee company-wide learning and leadership development programs
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training initiates through employee feedback data and recommend changes to programs as needed
  • Support belonging and inclusion efforts across the organization, and the committee and consultant level
