POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Human Resources will lead the organization’s HR strategy, policies, and compliance initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in employment law, employee relations, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have a legal background to ensure HR practices are aligned with federal, state, and local laws, while also fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or strong legal background in employment law preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and drive organizational change.
  • HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) a plus.
