Description

The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, and develop the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the company’s mission and talent strategy. The Director of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving initiatives in workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational culture to ensure alignment with the company’s mission and long-term growth. Essential Job Functions: * Track a variety of HR and workforce development needs; create, manage, and maintain electronic file records and spreadsheets. * Manage and coordinate the onboarding/orientation process for all new hires while keeping in tune with best practices. * Schedule training classes and evaluate the effectiveness of training activities for the organization. * Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. * Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies, processes, training programs, initiatives, and surveys to ensure compliance and drive the organization’s strategic goals. * Manage the administration of human resource programs, including, but not limited to, compensation (payroll), benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. * Responsible for creating and maintaining the departmental budget as well as correlating census data. * Lead and Develop HR Partner Team * Responsible for other initiatives provided by the COO. * Monitors and ensures the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to maintain compliance in all areas of employment. * Facilitate company-wide Town Hall style meetings on a Quarterly basis. * Work with in-house General Counsel on HR/Legal matters. * Perform other duties as required. Job Skills and Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred). * Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team. * Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and within the HR team to align strategies, enhance communication, and drive organizational success. * Experience with HRIS and performance management systems. (ADP) * 5+ years of Human Resources Management experience (preferred). * SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred). * Must have above-average written and verbal communication skills. * Managing employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives. * Analytical skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
