This role ensures IT infrastructure, ERP systems, design software, cybersecurity, and manufacturing technology support efficient production, data integrity, and scalable growth. The Director partners with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drives continuous improvement across operations. Compensation Salary Range: $105,000 – $150,000 annually Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, manufacturing expertise, and system complexity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy aligned with operational and growth goals. Lead ERP administration, optimization, and system integrations across manufacturing, accounting, estimating, and project management functions. Oversee network infrastructure, cloud services, servers, cybersecurity, and data backup/recovery systems. Support CAD/CAM systems, CNC machine integration, and production technology platforms. Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, risk management procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Manage IT budget, capital planning, vendor relationships, and software licensing agreements. Lead and develop internal IT staff and/or managed service providers. Establish reporting tools and business intelligence dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure system uptime, reliability, and responsive technical support for office and production teams. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of progressive IT experience; 3+ years in a leadership role. Manufacturing industry experience required; millwork, cabinetry, or construction-related industry preferred. Proven ERP implementation and management experience. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 environments. Experience supporting CAD/CAM and manufacturing systems strongly preferred. Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent communication with employees, vendors, and leadership in person and via phone/video. Occasional standing and walking throughout office and manufacturing environments. May require lifting and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds occasionally. Exposure to a manufacturing environment including moderate noise levels, dust, and temperature fluctuations when accessing production areas.
