Description Holy Rosary Catholic Church and School seeks a mission-driven Director of IT to manage and advance campus technology systems. This role ensures reliable networks, devices, communication, and security systems while supporting parish ministry and school instruction. The IT Director provides timely technical support and promotes secure, efficient, and innovative technology use. Key Responsibilities: Network & Systems · Manage wired/wireless networks, servers, cybersecurity, and backups · Maintain computers, tablets, printers, and classroom technology · Oversee software updates, licensing, and device lifecycle Telecommunications & Security · Manage phone systems, security cameras, access control, and emergency systems Technical Support & Training · Provide support for staff, faculty, and student devices · Troubleshoot classroom and office technology · Train and guide users on best practices Planning & Compliance · Develop long-term technology plans and recommend upgrades · Assist with budgeting and new technology research · Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and data privacy standards Requirements Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred · 3–5 years IT management experience; school or parish experience preferred · Skilled in networks, servers, cybersecurity, VoIP, security systems, and classroom tech · Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills · Supportive of Catholic values and mission Safe Environment Requirements · Complete criminal background check and VIRTUS Safe Environment training · Comply with diocesan child protection policies and mandatory reporting laws Physical & Work Environment · Ability to lift 40–50 lbs., move throughout campus, and access server/tech spaces · Occasional evening/weekend availability for events or system maintenance
