The Director of Information Technology serves as the university’s principal information technology leader or the Chief Information Officer (CIO), providing vision, strategic leadership, and management for all aspects of information technology across the University of Kalba. This executive role is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support the university’s academic, research, and administrative objectives, ensuring a secure, innovative, and efficient technological environment. The Director of the Information Technology Department serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the University of Kalba and is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, implementation, and management of all information technology initiatives across the university. The CIO ensures that IT systems and services support the academic, administrative, research, and operational goals of the institution in alignment with UAE national vision and global best practices.
