This role ensures technology systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with the operational needs of the business. The Director oversees infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and service delivery supporting Elkay Interior Systems’ global operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. This leader partners closely with operational, manufacturing, and corporate teams to modernize technology platforms, strengthen cybersecurity and data governance, and ensure IT capabilities effectively support the company’s continued growth. The Director of Information Technology leads the IT function and works cross-functionally with business leaders to drive technology solutions that improve efficiency, enable innovation, and support strategic business objectives. 💡 WHAT YOU’LL DO INFRASTRUCTURE & IT OPERATIONS Oversee global IT infrastructure including networks, cloud environments, end-user systems, cybersecurity, and service delivery. Ensure system reliability, performance, and security to support manufacturing, design, and business operations. Manage IT vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners to ensure effective service delivery and operational stability. Maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection capabilities across global operations. Monitor system performance, operational costs, and technology effectiveness to ensure optimal value. ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS & BUSINESS SYSTEMS Lead lifecycle management of enterprise applications including ERP systems, collaboration platforms, HR systems, and reporting tools. Ensure systems are integrated, data is reliable, and workflows support efficient operations. Drive automation and process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce manual work. Support implementation, upgrades, and adoption of technology solutions that strengthen business performance. CYBERSECURITY, DATA & GOVERNANCE Maintain strong cybersecurity practices and data protection standards across all locations. Support governance around data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system access controls. Ensure compliance with internal security standards and evolving technology risk expectations. TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY & PLANNING Develop and maintain a practical multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business goals and operational priorities. Identify opportunities to modernize systems, improve workflows, and support global growth. Evaluate emerging technologies with a focus on measurable business value. Support system integration related to acquisitions, expansions, or operational changes. FINANCIAL & VENDOR MANAGEMENT Develop and manage the IT budget with a focus on responsible investment and operational efficiency. Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and performance management. Ensure technology investments deliver measurable operational value. LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION Lead and develop IT team members and external technology partners supporting global operations. Build strong partnerships with operational, manufacturing, and corporate teams. Support change management and adoption of new technologies across the organization. Promote a collaborative, service-oriented IT culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement. ✅ WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including leadership responsibility. Experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and operational technology environments. Experience supporting multi-location or global organizations preferred. Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, construction, or design-focused environments is highly advantageous. Experience with ERP systems required; EPICOR experience is a strong plus. ⚙️ TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. Experience with ERP systems, collaboration platforms, reporting tools, and system integrations. Vendor management, budgeting, and IT financial oversight experience.
