Description RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of Meridian HealthCare’s technology strategy and infrastructure. This role ensures that all technology systems and data solutions support the organization’s mission of providing integrated, high-quality healthcare. The Director oversees IT operations, cybersecurity, system integrations (including EHR, billing, and HR platforms), and vendor management, while providing leadership for a growing IT team that supports multiple service locations. 1. Develop and implement Meridian’s overall information technology strategy to align with organizational goals. 2. Oversee daily operations of the IT department, including network, systems, servers, and telecommunications. 3. Ensure system uptime, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness across all Meridian locations. 4. Maintain cybersecurity protocols and serve as the organization’s Information Security Officer. 5. Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and staff cybersecurity training. 6. Manage all hardware, software, and equipment procurement and inventory. 7. Oversee helpdesk operations and ensure timely, effective technical support for staff. 8. Lead integration, maintenance, and optimization of key systems such as NextGen, Waystar, Towers, Power BI, and HR/finance platforms. 9. Ensure interoperability and data accuracy across all systems and departments. 10. Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and cloud infrastructure. 11. Manage data management and reporting systems to support compliance, grants, and operational dashboards. 12. Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement technology-driven process improvements and cost efficiencies. 13. Supervise IT staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. 14. Foster a responsive, service-oriented culture within the IT department. 15. Develop and maintain IT budgets, capital plans, and vendor contracts. 16. Oversee technology vendors and consultants to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost control. 17. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, OhioMHAS, and other applicable regulatory requirements. 18. Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to data security, system use, and access control. 19. Coordinate and oversee IT-related components of facility expansions, renovations, and new site development. 20. Support executive and program leadership with technology planning, analytics, and decision-making tools. 21. Stay informed of emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or innovations to improve efficiency and service delivery. 22. Provides after hours emergency support as required. 23. Follows all Agency’s policies, procedures, and regulations; supports the overall mission and philosophy of the Agency. 24. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field preferred. Five (5) plus years in an IT related field and two (2) plus years in IT Management experience required. Healthcare experience preferred to include Electronic Medical Records Application Software. Experience with Microsoft 365, Fortinet Products, Dell Products, VeloCloud by VMware, Jira Software Management, NextGen Application, or Methasoft Application a plus.
