Description
About the Opportunity We've built technology that's transforming how manufacturers operate. Now, we're transforming how Our systems work. But successful transformation is less about the tools themselves and more about execution discipline: process definition, data integrity, governance, cross-functional coordination, and change management. We're looking for a technology leader who understands that enterprise transformation requires both strategic vision and operational rigor. Someone who can own the execution of complex change initiatives while building the architectural foundations that enable AI-augmented operations and long-term scalability. This role is about delivering clean implementations, establishing governance, partnering across Finance, Operations, and Sales to formalize workflows—and simultaneously architecting systems that position us for an AI-driven future. If you're execution-focused, deeply collaborative, understand enterprise architecture, and get energized by building the foundations for transformative technology—this is your opportunity to lead. Own Enterprise Change Execution and Delivery Lead the execution of ERP initiatives, maintaining tight ownership of scope, data structures, integrations, and controls Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and Sales leadership to formalize business processes, document workflows, and establish governance before automation Own technology change enablement including system adoption, user readiness, training, and cross-functional coordination across enterprise platforms Actively bridge vendor limitations translating business requirements into executable system design and practical solutions Manage implementation timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communication to deliver clean, on-time results Establish accountability frameworks for technology-driven change, ensuring clarity on ownership, deliverables, and success metrics across initiatives Build Integration Architecture and Data Foundations Ensure architectural decisions today to support AI-augmented operations—building the foundation before deploying advanced capabilities Design and deliver Salesforce integrations with ERP, creating unified data flows across sales, operations, and finance Build API-first architectures that connect enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, BI, e-commerce) while maintaining data integrity and enabling future extensibility Establish data governance frameworks including master data management, data quality standards, and cross-system reconciliation processes Create integration architectures that expose clean interfaces for AI and automation capabilities as the organization evolves Position for AI-Augmented Operations Partner with leadership to articulate the vision for AI-driven scalability, where autonomous agents execute repeatable workflows and humans focus on supervision and strategy Identify high-impact use cases where AI automation can assume execution-layer responsibilities once proper data and process foundations are in place Design systems architecture that enables future AI agent integration with ERP and CRM platforms through well-defined APIs and orchestration layers Stay current on emerging AI technologies through self-directed learning, vendor partnerships, and industry engagement—preparing the organization for intelligent automation when foundational systems are ready Lead Through Collaboration and Operational Partnership Serve as a hands-on, execution-focused leader who actively participates in critical operational workflow evaluations alongside business teams Build and mentor an IT team capable of managing enterprise systems, supporting change initiatives, and developing integration capabilities Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners Manage IT strategy, budgets, vendor contracts, and service delivery to optimize ROI and align with organizational priorities Establish governance frameworks for technology deployment including security, compliance (GDPR/KVKK), audit trails, and risk management Qualifications Must-Haves 10+ years of progressive IT leadership with proven track record delivering large-scale ERP implementations on time, within budget, with clean data and process outcomes Execution discipline: you understand that successful transformation requires tight ownership of scope, data quality, governance, and cross-functional coordination—not just technical deployment Collaborative leadership: proven ability to partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and other business functions to formalize processes, resolve ambiguity, and drive adoption Integration expertise: hands-on experience designing and delivering Salesforce integrations with ERP and other enterprise platforms Vendor management: experience working within vendor constraints, bridging gaps, and translating business needs into executable solutions with external implementation partners Change management: track record leading technology adoption initiatives including user readiness, training, and organizational change across distributed teams Strategic thinker: balances immediate execution needs with long-term architectural vision—understands how to build foundations that enable future capabilities Based in Ankara, Turkey (or the DC Metro area) with ability to work effectively in a global, hybrid team environmen Ideal Background Deep Salesforce experience including implementation, administration, integration architecture, and connecting Salesforce to ERP/financial systems Experience managing IT budgets exceeding $1M and leading both internal teams and external vendor relationships through complex multi-phase implementations Background in process improvement, business process reengineering, or operational excellence—understanding that technology enables better processes, not the reverse Technical fluency with API design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and modern integration patterns Evidence of AI curiosity and learning: prototypes built, courses completed, vendor evaluations, pilot projects—we value learning agility and architectural thinking about future AI capabilities Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, pharma) with expertise in compliance, data privacy (GDPR/KVKK), and audit requirements Dual environment experience: startup/scale-up agility combined with enterprise governance, process discipline, and change management rigor What You'll Get Financial Competitive compensation package aligned with senior technology leadership roles in Turkey (or if US based, local adjustment) Comprehensive benefits and professional development support Professional Clear accountability and ownership for coordinating execution and adoption across technology-driven change initiatives Partner directly with CEO, and executive leadership to shape how technology drives operational excellence and competitive advantage Build the architectural and data foundations that enable AI-augmented operations—positioning PaneraTech for the scalability paradigm shift Access to resources, budget, and external expertise to deliver enterprise transformation while exploring emerging AI technologies Join a company that's already leveraging AI to transform heavy industry—now applying that same innovation discipline to our own operations with rigor and execution excellence Note: This role succeeds through execution discipline and collaborative partnership with business leaders who own priorities and outcomes. The Director of IT owns the coordination, technical execution, and adoption of technology-driven change.
