Job responsibilities Manages technical areas within infrastructure engineering, collaborates with others across different technical areas, and anticipates the needs of multiple disciplines within the function Manages and implements corporate and divisional operational plans and provides broad direction to teams, team leads, and supervisors Manages key senior stakeholders and ensures teams deliver in accordance with compliance standards, risk and security, service level agreements, and business requirements Drives multiple complex projects, processes, and initiatives Develops and executes the function’s objectives with accountability for outcomes Be responsible for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss Mentors and coaches junior engineers and technologists Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 7+ years applied experience Very good understanding in multiple network infrastructure technologies and protocols including Global and Local load balancing, DNS, network routing, switching, WAN, firewalls and proxies. Experienced and knowledge in the following key areas - Network Architecture & Engineering (planning, provision), Design (compliance, security), Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management) and Infrastructure life-cycle management and refresh. Good knowledge and understanding of Zero-Trust, Micro-segmentation, SASE architectures & Content Delivery Network (CDN) Experience managing cross-functional teams of infrastructure engineers Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent Extensive knowledge of hardware aligned to infrastructure engineering Exposure to managing and developing budgets Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS) and cloud technologies Understanding of DevOps principles and network automation solutions J.P.
