Job Title: Director of Infrastructure

Reports to: CEO
Hours Per Week: 37.5

PRIMARY SUMMARY

The Director of Infrastructure is responsible for the strategic planning, oversight, and management of all physical infrastructure at an independent living and supportive living facility. This includes the maintenance and operation of buildings, grounds, equipment, and facility systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and regulatory-compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role ensures long-term asset sustainability while aligning with provincial regulations, health standards, and the organization’s mission of delivering quality senior care. The Director of Infrastructure will work with Interdisciplinary team to support the infrastructure of TPFA with direct responsibility for tenant relations outside of our direct care programming (Templemont Gardens and Peter Coyle Place).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Building Operator, Facility Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent is an asset.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership in infrastructure or facility operations.
  • Minimum 3 years in seniors housing, healthcare, or supportive living environment in Alberta is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience with capital project delivery, infrastructure budgeting, and lifecycle asset management.
