Geocgi is looking for a Director of Innovation to lead technology strategy and drive growth. This role focuses on improving IT infrastructure, integrating AI, and supporting business development. The Director will work with leadership to identify new opportunities, build partnerships, and guide innovation across projects. They will mentor teams on proposal writing and solution design, help recruit top talent, and analyze market trends to keep us competitive. Flexible work options are available—either from our Alexandria, VA office or remotely within the U.S. The candidate should have knowledge of the geospatial industry and be able to analyze competition to determine strengths and weaknesses. The work location for this position is flexible. The candidate may work from our office in Alexandria, VA or remotely from within the United States. The following are requirements of the potential candidate: * US citizen * DoD Secret Level Clearance * Education: BA/BS; Business or IT related fields including but not limited to: Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, etc. * Minimum 10 years’ experience leading GIS or IT federal business development and related proposal activities * Experience identifying talented GIS and IT professionals and engaging in detailed conversations to determine fit.
