Job Summary The Director of Intake will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, overseeing the enrollment of membership into Managed Care Organizations (MCD), managing lead generation activities, and collaborating with digital, branding, and sales teams. Additionally, the Director will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in the intake process. This role ensures that the admission process is streamlined, efficient, and compliant with all regulatory standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the intake department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in processes and procedures. Facilitate the enrollment process for members into Managed Care Organizations (MCD), including pool trust enrollment, code removals, plan-to-plan transfers, and special projects related to membership enrollment. Develop and implement strategies for lead management, including campaigns, house leads, and marketer leads, to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads for intake. Foster a collaborative environment among intake coordinators, field staff, and other healthcare professionals. Collaboration with Digital, Branding & Sales Teams: Work closely with the digital marketing, branding, and sales teams to align intake strategies with overall marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in messaging and branding. Foster and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration in the intake process. Track and report on key performance metrics, such as patient admission times, referral sources, and satisfaction rates. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and insurance standards. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to stay informed about industry trends and advancements in healthcare. Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare laws and policies that affect the intake process and patient care. Work with senior management to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and work collaboratively with all team members in the accounting department. Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership and team-building skills. Homecare Intake Experience: At least 1 year of experience in homecare intake, with a solid understanding of the intake process and related procedures. People Skills: Above-average interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with team members, clients, and external stakeholders. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Bachelor’s Degree preferred Physical Demands: Must remain in stationary position for long periods of time at desk or computer Requires occasionally standing, sitting, walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; hearing; talking Work Environment: On-site Pay Range: The hiring range for this position is $90,000.00-100,000.00 annually. Various factors will determine final compensation, such as a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
