JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Qatari company located in Doha, and this position is in person.
The Director/Manager of Internal Audit is responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of GTA’s governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks. This role oversees audits across financial, operational, compliance, and IT domains to ensure accountability, transparency, and integrity in GTA’s operations. The incumbent also leads fraud investigations, promotes ethical standards, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with international auditing standards and national regulations.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Audit, Public Administration, or Risk Management preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, CFE, or ACCA are required/strongly preferred.
• 12–15 years’ progressive experience in auditing, risk management, or internal controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing complex audits in government or large organizations.
• Demonstrated success in leading fraud investigations and compliance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of international internal auditing standards (IIA, ISO, INTOSAI).
• Proficiency in audit planning, risk-based methodologies, and data analytics tools.
• Ability to assess governance frameworks and recommend practical improvements.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong leadership with integrity, impartiality, and resilience under pressure.
• Fluency in Arabic and English required.
