About the Company A fast-growing U.S.-based brand is expanding its global footprint and seeking a strategic, culturally fluent Director of International Marketing to lead its entry and growth across European markets. The company’s mission is to ensure its world-class campaigns resonate globally with the same impact they achieve domestically, through smart localization and tailored performance strategies. Scope of the Role You’ll be responsible for adapting, localizing, and scaling the company’s U.S. marketing campaigns for international markets, starting with Europe. This role blends strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment where precision and cultural understanding are key. Duties and Responsibilities: Drive International Growth: Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to expand brand awareness and sales in key European regions. Localization & Translation: Oversee adaptation of creative, copy, and campaigns so they feel native and authentic to each local audience. Performance Optimization: Partner with the U.S. paid media team to tailor ads, targeting, and creative for European audiences; track and report ROI by region. Email & Retention Marketing: Collaborate with the lifecycle team to adapt communications by region for timing, tone, and compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align global and regional teams to ensure consistency in brand and performance priorities. Analytics & Insights: Measure campaign results, identify areas for improvement, and implement learnings swiftly. Scalability: Identify operational or tool gaps that limit international growth and propose efficient solutions. Requirements: 8+ years in marketing, with proven leadership in international or multi-market campaigns. Strong understanding of European markets, consumer insights, and cultural nuance. Solid background in performance marketing, localization, and content adaptation. Hands-on experience with paid media and creative evaluation. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with U.S.-based teams. Strategic yet execution-driven mindset — thrives in lean, agile environments.
