DIRECTOR OF IT

Our Client requires a Director of IT. This is a full-time staff position in St. John’s, NL. Salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2025.
The Director of IT oversees the organization’s IT operations, ensuring efficient and secure technology systems align with business goals. This role involves managing the IT infrastructure, developing strategies, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and cybersecurity.
· Lead IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
· Evaluate, modify, and create information systems policies and procedures
· Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
· Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement.
· Supervise IT staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
· Ensure compliance with data security regulations and conduct audits.
· Collaborate with executives to plan future IT initiatives.
· Ability to obtain Canadian and international security clearances as required.”

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
· 7–10 years of IT management experience.
· Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
· Expertise in IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity practices.
