About the Role

This is far more than a technical leadership role. You'll be responsible for IT, Data and Business Intelligence across the organisation, leading a team of 33 (2 direct reports), and taking ownership of the technology and data strategy that underpins everything from day-to-day operations to long-term organisational priorities.

IT is seen here as an enabler, not an end in itself. Your role is to help the organisation understand and unlock the value that strong data, insight and reporting can bring, and to make the connection between better systems and better frontline services for customers and communities.

• You'll bring genuine foresight to the role: horizon scanning for emerging technology, sector and security developments, and translating that thinking into a clear, credible strategy that the wider business can get behind.
